How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to delete your F1 Pitwall account and all associated personal data, you can do so in the following ways:
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to admin@f1pitwall.dev with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Option 2: In-App Account Deletion
If you are logged in, go to your account settings and select "Delete Account". This will immediately begin the deletion process.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your account information (name, email, Google account ID)
- Your saved fantasy teams and season data
- Your subscription records (Stripe customer association)
- Your authentication session data
What We Retain
After deletion, we may retain:
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
- Transaction records required by law for accounting purposes
Stripe may independently retain billing records per their Privacy Policy.
Processing Timeline
- Email requests: processed within 30 days
- In-app deletion: begins immediately, completed within 7 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Facebook Login Data
If you connected via Facebook, you can also remove F1 Pitwall's access to your data from your Facebook App Settings. When you remove the app from Facebook, we will receive a deletion callback and process the removal of your data within 30 days.
